Your home-based business (online and/or offline) is much more than “just” a business. Or should be.
In the information overload that is the daily fare of netpreneurs, there is so much emphasis on technique, technology, strategy, and how-to-do this or that aspect of Internet marketing that some important things get left out of the equation.
Things like passion, heart, soul, ministry and divine guidance. Things like prayer, and building the Kingdom of God.
But isn’t a home business all about making money you ask? No, I answer. It is not.
It is about finding your true place in God’s scheme of things, it is about discovering your talents, your passions, your spiritual gifts, and your way to help and serve others.
A home business is not a job and not a meal ticket. This is one of the big unexamined assumptions.
Also, there are no magic bullets when it comes to building a home business. No get rich quick, no effortless wealth. And you would be surprised by how many entrepreneurs still fall for these fantasies.
I will be addressing some of the themes touched upon in this post in subsequent posts.
I have reached an age and level experience that lead me to be quite comfortable about expressing my views and opinions.
